Kids back to school and leaves starting to turn. Summers ending, which is sad since I hate cold weather. There is college football, so at least there’s that.
Here’s what’s coming up next week.
Children of Men by Alfonso Cuarón and
Timothy J. Sexton
Logline: In 2027, in a chaotic world in which humans can no longer procreate, a former activist agrees to help transport a miraculously pregnant woman to a sanctuary at sea, where her child’s birth may help scientists save the future of humankind.
There Will Be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson
Logline: A story about family, greed, religion, and oil, centered around a turn-of-the-century prospector in the early days of the business.

i think Paul Thomas Anderson is a brilliant filmmaker. i’d say There Will Be Blood is even a masterpiece. but the script for this is really hard to read. some of the revision pages are like the end credits to that Spawn movie. some of the script is almost kind of written like how you’d do a tv pilot script. underlined locations, all cap dialogue, very distracting.
