  1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind by the great Charlie Kaufman. should be required reading for every screenwriter.

    i was thinking about suggesting his script for A Scanner Darkly vs. the Richard Linklater adaptation. but i could only find charlie’s draft. so he wins by default!
