Hi all.

Next week starts our first pro week. We’ve decided to take a break from amateur scripts for a bit to see if you, the readers, take more away from stories that actually made it to the big screen.

*DISCLAIMER* I wanted one of my picks to be another Diablo Cody script to see if she really is just a one trick pony. I picked Jennifer’s Body which may or may not have been the best, but I wanted to see if the things Roy liked in Juno were in this horror/comedy.

Monday 8/6

Jennifer’s Body by Diablo Cody

Logline: A newly possessed cheerleader turns into a killer who specializes in offing her male classmates. Can her best friend put an end to the horror?

Tuesday 8/7/

The Matrix by Andy and Lana Wachowski

Logline: A computer hacker learns from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his reality and his role in the war against its controllers.

Wednesday 8/8

Blade Runner by Hampton Fancher and David Peoples (screenplay)

Logline: Deckard, a blade runner, has to track down and terminate 4 replicants who hijacked a ship in space and have returned to earth seeking their maker.

Friday 8/10

The Royal Tenenbaums by Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson

Logline: An estranged family of former child prodigies reunites when one of their member announces he has a terminal illness.
